  List of useful software for downloading  

In case you have come here from a Google search you are informed that all the programs below have been discussed in the Useful Software page. These programs, all of which are free (or at least have a free version) are meant to help you get the most out of your computer. After all what we can do with our computer depends on what we have installed in it. I have personally tried out each and everyone of them (over the course of the last few years).
When I bought a new PC recently I had to reinstall the following programs one after the other: Skype, Avast (anti-virus), OpenOffice, Firefox, ZoneAlarm, jZip, Faststone Image Viewer, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Spybot - Search & Destroy, HijackThis, SUPERAntiSpyware, Adobe Reader, Real Player, MWSnap, Dropbox, Advanced Renamer, Picasa and especially, Team Viewer, thanks to which I am able to transfer all the files in the numerous folders from my other PC.
You can imagine the hassle (and the amount of time wasted) if you have to hunt all over the place for the various programs. It is for this reason that I have regrouped all the programs - many of which are really indispensable - together here for easy reference and downloading, thus saving you boatloads of time. Other software, such as Flash Player or Java can be installed as and when they are needed.
